Are you an experienced Headteacher, looking for the next challenge within a specialist SEND provision?A large, independent Education Group are looking for an enthusiastic Headteacher to join their new therapeutic school opening in 2026.Job description:Lead the development of a brand-new SEND school and implement the core values and curriculum goalsManage the senior leadership teamMonitor and review school systems and whole pupil progressLead Ofsted preparations and monitor standard complianceManage overall school and staff developmentEnsure implementation and adherence to safeguarding policiesSalary: £55,000-£75,000 (DOE)Person specification:Experience working as a HeadteacherExperience in SLT in a start-up or school undergoing major change is desirableAt least 2 years working in a SEND environment or similar provisionQTS/QTLSPassionate about working with SEND childrenExcellent communication and ability to liaise with multiple partiesOpening in 2026, the school would benefit from someone with a unique vision on how best to develop the provision. They are ideally seeking someone with similar experience or demonstrating strong willing for a new challenge.
