The company delivers complex, low-volume, high-specification vehicle programmes and is continuing to grow its engineering and manufacturing capability.The business operates in a highly regulated environment and places strong emphasis on quality, safety, and technical compliance.The RoleThe Unit Production Manager will take full ownership of day-to-day production activity within a vehicle conversion unit.You will be responsible for planning, coordination and delivery of builds, managing multi-skilled teams and ensuring customer specifications, quality standards and delivery schedules are met.This role is fully on-site and highly operational.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all daily production activity within the unitPlan production schedules and resource allocationLead and manage production teams to meet output and quality targetsEnsure teams are working to latest specifications, drawings and BoMsTrack materials availability and liaise with suppliersCoordinate wiring looms, electrical boards and fabrication activitiesManage specification changes and documentation (SCNs)Track labour hours and monitor efficiencyEnsure compliance with quality systems, regulatory frameworks and H&S standardsLiaise with customers and attend internal meetingsAbout YouStrong production or operations management backgroundExperience leading teams in an engineering or manufacturing environmentHighly organised with strong attention to detailConfident managing multiple workstreams simultaneouslyAutomotive, specialist vehicle or similar background preferredComfortable working fully on-siteWhats on OfferKey operational leadership roleHigh level of responsibility and autonomyExposure to complex vehicle programmesLong-term stability within an established businessIf this role is of interest, please apply via LinkedIn or email [email protected]
