Job Description Head of HRLocation: Cheshire Head Office, with national travelSalary: Up to 75,000 + car allowance + benefitsContract: Fixed term until September 2026This is a well established business with significant heritage and legacy. Currently positioning themselves for growth, there are a number of ongoing change projects across the business to ensure this growth is sustainable and effective. The RoleReporting to the HR Director and partnering Operational stakeholders at Director level, this is a key role in supporting the business leadership as they navigate this change. Youll be:Leading, coaching, and developing a team of HR Business Partners and ER specialists who provide hands-on support to line managers across the businessBuilding capability and confidence within the leadership population enabling them to lead and develop their teamsSupporting large-scale projects, including the integration of acquired businesses and standardisation of Ts&Cs across all UK locationsNavigating a unionised environment, where your awareness and pragmatic approach will be keySpending c40% of your time travelling between sites to maintain visibility and impactAbout YouWere seeking someone who combines strong operational HR expertise with the ability to see the bigger picture. Youll be comfortable delivering implementation and change, but equally able to understand and align with the strategic roadmap.
