We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Account Director to lead a high-profile client relationship within the retail food sector (Experience in the Food retail sector is a must) . This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and has a passion for delivering results.What We’re Looking ForYou’ll be an enthusiastic and solutions-focused professional with a natural ability to lead, prioritise, and make informed decisions. Clear communication is critical—you’ll be the key point of contact between internal teams, the client, and external stakeholders, including suppliers and service providers.The ideal candidate will have a commercial mindset, experience in client management, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Previous exposure to the food industry—particularly technical and regulatory processes—is a strong advantage, especially if you’ve worked with or supplied to major retailers.Your Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the commercial performance of a major retailer accountLead all commercial negotiations, both for existing and new servicesOversee day-to-day service delivery to ensure all client needs are metConduct weekly status meetings with the client to address volume, category, or delivery issuesDevelop and manage strong stakeholder relationships, including with the Graphic Service Provider (GSP) and technical system providerProduce monthly governance reports and ensure targets are metAct as a strategic partner to the client—earning a seat at the decision-making table and gaining the trust of senior leadersWhat You'll BringDemonstrable experience managing client relationships and stakeholders, ideally within major retailersBackground in FMCG (preferably food retail)Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong commercial acumen with experience in quoting and contract negotiationsExcellent communication, networking, and diplomacy skillsPrevious leadership or team management experienceHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)A positive, "can-do" attitude and a hunger to learnConfidence in applying regulatory or process knowledge to real-world client needsWhat Success Looks LikeYou'll grow and lead a major account, delivering high-quality service that addresses client needs and drives business impact.
