Management Trainer Position OverviewChesamel Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer to join our Learning & Development team. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes that enhance employee skills, drive performance improvement, and support our organisational growth objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Design and DevelopmentConduct thorough training needs assessments across departments to identify skill gaps and learning prioritiesDesign comprehensive training curricula, materials, and resources aligned with business objectivesDevelop engaging content using various instructional methods including presentations, workshops, e-learning modules, and hands-on activitiesCreate assessment tools to measure learning effectiveness and skill acquisitionTraining DeliveryFacilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for diverse audiences ranging from new hires to senior staffDeliver induction programmes for new employees to ensure smooth onboardingConduct specialised technical, soft skills, and leadership development workshopsAdapt training delivery style to accommodate different learning preferences and experience levelsProgramme ManagementMaintain training calendars and coordinate logistics for all learning initiativesTrack attendance, completion rates, and participant feedbackManage relationships with external training vendors and consultants when neededEnsure training materials remain current and compliant with industry standards and regulationsPerformance SupportProvide one-to-one coaching and mentoring to employees requiring additional supportPartner with managers to identify performance improvement opportunitiesCreate job aids and quick reference guides to reinforce learningSupport the implementation of new systems, processes, or procedures through targeted training interventionsEvaluation and ReportingMeasure training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and performance metricsAnalyse training data to demonstrate ROI and identify areas for improvementPrepare regular reports on training activities, outcomes, and recommendationsContinuously refine programmes based on feedback and business needsRequired QualificationsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organisational Development, or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate training, adult education, or similar roleProven track record of designing and delivering successful training programmesExperience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring toolsSkills and CompetenciesExceptional presentation and facilitation skills with ability to engage diverse audiencesStrong instructional design capabilities and knowledge of adult learning principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platformsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all organisational levelsPersonal AttributesPassionate about learning and developmentCreative problem-solver with innovative approach to training challengesPatient and supportive teaching styleFlexible and adaptable to changing business needsSelf-motivated with strong initiativeCommitted to continuous professional developmentPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in relevant fieldProfessional certifications such as CIPD, TAP, or similar credentialsExperience in [specific industry relevant to Chesamel Group]Knowledge of emerging training technologies and trendsMultilingual capabilities
