Legal Secretary

Wise May are looking for a Legal Secretary for a progressive Law firm to support a team of 11.This is a great opportunity to work in a vibrant office in the City within a diverse team, who reward hard work. This is a full time, permanent position with hybrid working (Monday - Thursday in the office and Fridays working remotely), the hours are 9.30am-5.30pm.Legal Secretary Duties to include:Full secretarial supportDrafting of correspondence and documents (usually to tight deadlines), reformatting into business house style, including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPointFiling, document management, opening new matters and archivingDiary management, coordinating internal and external meetingsMaintaining contact information, collating lists of parties for specific dealsEmail management and archiving of emailsEncouraging fee earners to keep up to date with DTE, inputting DTE information as provided by fee earnersOrganising attendance at seminars, work related travel, accommodation etcOrganising/assisting with department events and client/marketing eventsOther ad hoc tasks when requiredLegal Secretary Skills and Experience Required:Demonstrable experience working as a Legal Secretary.High level of ability on all applications, including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPointAbility to work under pressure and prioritiseStrong organisational skillsProactive and practical approachGood accuracy and attention to detailFlexible and approachable attitudeConfidentiality and discretionTeam playerGood telephone manner and communication skills, including the ability and confidence to liaise with clients and employees at all levelsCandidate must be willing to work outside of normal contractual hours where necessaryBenefits:Contributory Pension SchemeLife Assurance (4 x annual salary)Income Protection SchemePrivate Medical InsuranceGP Service25 days holidaySubsidised Staff RestaurantHealth ScreeningAnnual Well Being Allowance, On-site Gym, Employee Assistance Programme and Season Ticket Loan
