With a strong reputation for safety, quality, and reliable project delivery, they have built long-standing relationships within the housing sector.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they are now seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting the delivery of residential developments in and around Cheltenham.The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Quantity Surveyor with residential groundworks experience to join a reputable and growing contractor. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the commercial management of a residential groundworks project, ensuring financial performance, contractual compliance, and cost control from tender stage through to final account.Key ResponsibilitiesManage project budgets, cost plans, and commercial reportingCarry out take-offs and assist with tender and procurement processesPrepare and agree interim valuations and final accounts with clientsMonitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flowWork closely with site teams and project managers to resolve commercial mattersManage variations and ensure accurate commercial records are maintainedContribute to monthly cost value reconciliation and financial reportingSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworks or civil engineeringStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailExcellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skillsAbility to manage the commercial aspects of a project independentlyRelevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (HNC/HND/Degree preferred)Whats on OfferCompetitive salary up to 70,000 per annum depending on experienceCompany car or car allowancePension scheme and additional company benefitsOpportunity to join a stable and growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work
