Job Description Building Surveyor (Chartered) - Cheltenham - c60kWorking for a well respected consultancy, you will join an established team based in Cheltenham. Projects include large residential, industrial, commercial and educational schemes with contract values over 30 million to much smaller schemes across a variety of project management and core Building Surveying roles.You will carry out the following duties:Provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of all types of residential, commercial properties and educational facilitiesCarry out building and condition surveysProvide advice on buildings ensuring they conform to the latest building regulations and technical standardsTaking particulars on site, writing up specifications, obtaining tenders, planning maintenance programmes and administering contracts for maintenance workAnalyse and report on building defectsHandling claims and negotiations with loss adjusters leading to the preparation of drawings and specifications for remedial work for insurance purposesPrepare schedules of dilapidationsUndertake the role of quality monitor on various schemes including housing schemesLead and manage teams preparing designs for extensions, refurbishment schemes and new build developments ranging from 50k to 4mNotices, Schedules of Condition and Awards for Party Wall mattersYou will have the followingMRICSConsultancy experienceCapable of managing individual team members, organising their work where necessary and providing guidance on projectsGood communication and client facing skillsExcellent all-round technical building surveying knowledgePlease apply online --- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
