The Role As Management Accountant , you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information that supports the company's growth and ensures compliance. You'll manage a small finance team day-to-day, oversee all management accounting processes, and play an active role in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning. ?? Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts , ensuring accuracy and insight. Manage weekly bank reconciliations and resolve any variances swiftly. Produce cash flow forecasts and maintain rolling financial projections. Ensure FCA-related reconciliations and reporting are compliant and up to standard. Review internal processes to strengthen financial controls and efficiency. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles , working closely with department heads. Liaise with auditors and maintain a clean audit trail. Process monthly payroll using Sage Payroll. Oversee credit control and manage insurance-related payments. ?? About You You're a motivated, detail-oriented Management Accountant who enjoys both the analytical and operational sides of finance. You're confident communicating financial insights and enjoy helping others understand the story behind the numbers. You'll bring: A professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA preferred) . Solid experience in management accounting and financial reporting . Proficiency in Sage 50 and Sage Payroll . Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting. Excellent organisational and communication abilities. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail. (Desirable: Knowledge of FCA regulations , especially client funds.) ?? What's on Offer 48,000 - 50,000 salary , depending on experience. Full-time, onsite role : Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. 31 days' holiday (including bank and public holidays).
