Job Description We are seeking a Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join a legal practice with a strong presence across Essex and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clinical negligence department with exposure to an interesting caseload and enjoy a flexible and collaborative working environment.Position OverviewYou'll join a team of dedicated professionals handling a broad spectrum of clinical negligence matters. From birth injury claims and surgical errors to misdiagnosis and care home negligence, you'll be trusted to manage your own caseload of litigated and pre-litigated files with the full support of experienced secretarial and administrative staff. The role offers high-quality, varied work across a diverse client base, while giving you the platform to further develop your expertise within a recognised and respected team.ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of clinical negligence claims, both pre and post litigationAssist senior solicitors with complex, high-value mattersDraft letters of claim, witness statements and other key legal documentationDeliver empathetic and clear client care throughout each caseCollaborate with team members and support the continued growth of the departmentRequirementsQualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years' PQEDemonstrable interest or experience in clinical negligence lawExcellent communication skills and a client-focused approachStrong attention to detail, with a proactive and organised mindsetWillingness to learn and grow within a supportive teamCompany OverviewOur client is a respected regional law firm recognised in the Legal 500 for its specialist departments and quality of service.
