Job Description Deputy Ward Manager Eating Disorder Unit (Confidential Opportunity)Salary: 43,014 46,314A confidential healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Deputy Ward Manager (RMN) to join a specialist Eating Disorder Unit within a well-established independent hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated mental health professional with strong leadership skills and experience within eating disorder services to support the management and development of a high-quality clinical environment.Service OverviewThe hospital is a 56-bed facility comprising four wards, including two NHS-contracted services and two private wards. The successful candidate will work within a 12-bed specialist Eating Disorder Unit, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.Role OverviewThe Deputy Ward Manager will support the Ward Manager in the day-to-day operational and clinical leadership of the ward, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. The post holder will play a key role in staff supervision, clinical governance, and maintaining high standards of care and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Ward Manager in leading and developing the multidisciplinary team.Ensure high standards of clinical care, safety, and patient experience.Provide strong leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing staff.Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance processes.Assist in managing staffing, rota planning, and performance management.Promote a positive, recovery-focused therapeutic environment.Essential RequirementsRegistered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification with active NMC registration.Minimum of 2 years ward management or senior leadership experience.Experience working within an Eating Disorder Unit (EDU) is essential.Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.Ability to support and motivate a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high clinical standards.Whats on OfferCompetitive salary of 43,014 46,314 (depending on experience).Opportunity to work within a specialist service with a supportive leadership team.Career development within a reputable and growing healthcare organisation.Please apply or reach out to [email protected] OR 07458142783
