HGV Maintenance FitterApply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.Location: West ThurrockSalary: 23.37 per hour Plus overtime ratesJob Type: Full-time, PermanentShift Pattern: 42 hours per week (shift pattern between 06:00 19:00)Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Maintenance Fitter to join a busy and well-established vehicle workshop within the chemical industry.This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected company operating a modern fleet of HGV vehicles and trailers.You will play a key role in ensuring the fleet remains compliant, roadworthy, and safe for delivering products to loyal customers.Key Responsibilities:Service, maintain and inspect HGV vehicles and trailers to VOSA standardsDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faultsCarry out routine servicing and repairs including brakes, gearboxes, and clutchesRespond to vehicle breakdowns when requiredIdentify and order parts as necessaryComplete and maintain accurate documentation using the companys vehicle maintenance systemEnsure all work is carried out to the highest standardMaintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environmentAdhere to all health and safety requirements, including wearing appropriate PPERequirements:Proven experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, repair and diagnosticsPrevious experience working within a busy HGV workshopStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsADR knowledge and experience (essential)Ability to work independently xjdpvnf and as part of a teamStrong understanding of compliance and safety standardsWorking Hours & Benefits:42 hours per week on a rotating week-about shift pattern (between 06:00 19:00)23.37 per hourOvertime Monday to Saturday paid at time and a halfOvertime Sunday paid at double time25 days holiday per annumIf you are an experienced HGV Maintenance Fitter with ADR knowledge looking for a stable and rewarding opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
