Job: Pay & Benefits ManagerLocation: Colchester, Essex (Hybrid working following completion of 3 month probation)Salary: Up to 50k basic plus Company CarMinimum requirements are 2 years experience as a payroll manager or equivalentOverviewApply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee employee benefits programmes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing benefits administration, supporting HR initiatives, and enhancing employee engagement through effective communication. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience and a solid understanding of human resources systems to contribute to organisational success.ResponsibilitiesTechnically competent, identifying opportunities to improve business performance and profit and accountabilitiesAware of the commercial implications of their actions. Maximises business opportunities by referring to the most appropriate colleague, or department.Strives to reduce waste and improve quality in their work, raising ideas for improved services, products or efficiencies.Collects & maintains information relevant to their job role.Identifies the opportunity for change and improvement, understands the effect of one system / process on another and the importance of sharing ideas with colleagues.Manages customer expectations by keeping them well informed and explaining changes when they happen. Actively supports customers throughout this process.Actively listens, empathises with the customer, confirming understanding of needs, reassuring the customer of the right course of action.Uses a structured approach for identifying problems and assess what can be done.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a payroll environment.Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.Tax & NI knowledge for calculations within the payroll system/overpayments.GCSEs in Maths and English. xjdpvnf Use of Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook.Evidence of Right to work in the UK
