Join us as a Regional Account Manager and play a key role in helping businesses improve their environmental performance while driving commercial success.As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing client accounts to maximise turnover and profitability. You’ll be the face of our company in your region, delivering exceptional service and promoting innovative waste management solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong client relationships through regular face-to-face meetings, calls, and emails.Support clients in improving their environmental performance, focusing on the waste hierarchy.Monitor account profitability and ensure long-term sustainability.Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales) to meet client needs.Handle daily client requests and manage expectations professionally.Accurately complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.Promote additional services and innovative ideas to clients.Expand service offerings and increase revenue through added value.Maintain and grow relationships with waste and recycling suppliers.Stay up to date with industry developments and legislation.Represent the company positively and professionally at all times.What we need from youProven experience in the Waste Management industry.A valid UK driving licence.Strong Health & Safety awareness.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Organised and able to prioritise effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).Commercially aware and customer-focused.Location preference:We’re ideally looking for someone based in the North East or Yorkshire regions to support our clients across Scotland more effectively.
