We are nowlooking for a Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) to work within ourBath and North East Somerset Drug and Alcohol Service where youllhave the chance to make a real difference to the lives of thepeople we support who are experiencing difficulties from drugs andalcohol usage.As aNon-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) youll have the chance to make areal difference to the lives of the people we support who areexperiencing difficulties from drug and alcohol use, working withthem to develop the personal, flexible and realistic supportpackages they need to support their recovery.Passionateabout people, youll enjoy the opportunity and support to enhanceyour own life and career too, as you gain the experience andtraining you need to progress within Turning Point.Role ResponsibilityAs acommunity based Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) in a busyprescribing service, you will be involved with opiate substitutetreatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications and relapseprevention medications. As part of the wider Wellbeing Team youwill also provide support to the nursing team providing Blood BorneVirus screening and vaccinations and will work closely with mentalhealth, physical health and social care services. You'll also helpto create a collaborative approach that links Turning Point evercloser to outside professionals and agencies.The Ideal CandidateWe areseeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) that willjoin an established team in Bath, you will need to be an excellentcommunicator, you'll have the ability to develop support packagesthat are creative, flexible and tailored to the needs of eachindividual.
