Production Manager High-Impact Leadership Role High Peak Are you a driven Production Manager who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments? Ready to take full ownership of operations and make a tangible impact every single day? We're partnering with a leading global manufacturer (confidential) to find a standout Production Manager to lead multi-shift operations and drive performance, discipline, and continuous improvement across the shop floor. The Opportunity This is not a sit-behind-the-desk role. You'll be the heartbeat of the operation, leading from the front, making decisions in real time, and ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and on target. You'll take ownership of output, performance, and people, building a culture of accountability while delivering measurable improvements. What You'll Be Doing Operational Leadership Own daily production performance across multiple shifts Drive on-time delivery and operational efficiency targets Ensure full readiness of materials, machinery, and labour before each shift Act fast to remove bottlenecks and keep production moving Performance & Accountability Lead daily performance meetings with clear actions and ownership Hold teams accountable for safety, quality, and output Reduce waste, scrap, and downtime through strong shop-floor control Use data and KPIs to drive decisions and improvements Continuous Improvement Identify and eliminate inefficiencies impacting performance Improve workflow, cycle times, and overall productivity Partner with engineering to resolve recurring issues Embed Lean and 5S principles into daily operations People Leadership Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team leaders Build a high-performance culture with clear expectations Challenge underperformance constructively and confidently Support training and cross-skilling across teams Safety & Compliance Champion a strong safety-first culture Ensure compliance with industry standards (IATF, ISO) Act immediately on risks and maintain safe systems of work What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Production Manager in highly regulated, fast paced manufacturing environment Experience managing large teams Solid understanding of OEE/OAE and performance metrics Confident communicator who can challenge and influence at all levels Strong analytical and organisational skills Bonus points for: Automotive sector experience is highly desirable Lean / Six Sigma knowledge Why This Role?
