Solid Surface/Woodwork Fabricator

We are recruiting on behalf of Lambsons Innovate Ltd for a motivated and detail driven Solid Surface Fabricator to join the production team at their Castleford site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced joiner/woodworker who is eager to broaden their skillset and develop expertise in solid surface fabrication through structured in-house training. Please note: This role is not suitable for welders or metal fabricators. We are specifically seeking candidates with a background in joinery, carpentry, or woodwork, who are confident using woodworking tools and machinery. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00am 17:30pm (44 hours per week) Benefits 35,000 - 38,500 (depending on experience) Overtime if needed on Fridays. Daily 60-minute breaks. 20 days of annual holiday. Uniform and PPE provided. Key Responsibilities Manufacture and finish products to meet specifications and quality standards. Ability to work from CAD drawings to deliver precise outcomes. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Accurately complete job-related paperwork. Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets. Identify and report defects to maintain quality assurance. Follow company health & safety policies and procedures. Essential Skills & Experience Proven joinery/woodwork experience is ESSENTIAL Practical experience of using woodworking power tools. Ability to interpret and work from CAD drawings (training provided where required). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Desirable (Training Provided) Previous exposure to solid surface fabrication (e.g., Corian, Staron, Hi-MACS). Thermoforming experience. TPBN1_UKTJ
