Job Description Opportunity to join a leading food manufacturer and support the Technical team with day to day food quality, safety, and compliance activities. Ideal opportunity for somebody looking to move into a technical/quality role and gain 'hands on' experience.Benefits available include an annual bonus scheme, pension, life assurance, retailer discount schemes, free parking and a few other perks.About the Role The site produces a range of chilled foods for major retail customers and your key responsibilities will include:Working closely with production teams, providing technical support to improve and maintain food safety and quality standards.Supporting traceability exercises, allergen controls, and non-conformance investigations.Assisting with internal, retailer, and BRC audits.Helping to manage specifications, calibration systems, and technical documentation.About YouDegree qualified in Food Science or similar, or with prior experience in a technical/quality role in food production.Basic knowledge of food safety systems and standards (HACCP, BRC, GMP).Proactive approach to food safety and able to prioritise a busy workload.Confident working with colleagues at all levels.Next StepsTo find out more about this Technical Assistant role, apply today!JBRP1_UKTJ
