Aircraft MechanicA400M Line Maintenance RAF Brize Norton£40 per hour (Umbrella) | 5x5x4 shift pattern (06:0018:00)Arden White Aviation & Aerospace Recruitment are working with a leading aerospace organisation seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to support A400M line maintenance operations at RAF Brize Norton.This is a long-term contract opportunity on a high-profile military platform, offering stable shifts, competitive rates, and the chance to work within a specialist maintenance environment.The RoleYou will support scheduled, unscheduled, and out-of-phase line maintenance activities in accordance with technical documentation and company procedures. Occasional support within hangar/bay maintenance may also be required.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform aircraft maintenance tasks as directedSupport cross-trade working to maintain safe and effective operationsCorrect task booking and procedural complianceMovement of tooling, equipment and aircraft componentsAircraft cleaning and housekeeping of work areasServicing aircraft systems (including toilets)Spill containment and environmental complianceAssist with aircraft manoeuvringWaste management and recycling complianceReporting safety concerns promptlyMaintaining tools and equipment in safe working conditionSupport off-site/AOG requirements when requiredMaintain awareness of operational Read & Sign noticesHealth & Safety You will operate in line with all aviation safety, security and environmental policies, ensuring full compliance with operational procedures and standards.RequirementsAircraft maintenance qualification (NVQ Level 3 / Apprenticeship) or equivalentMinimum 3 years relevant aircraft experienceCompleted competency assessmentAbility to work independently or as part of a teamStrong safety awareness and communication skillsAbility to operate ground power equipment (GPU/powerset)Eligible for UK Security ClearanceFull UK passport requiredIf you feel you have the skills to succeed in this role, please click to apply.Arden White specialises in technical engineering recruitment, and all job applications are managed by our team.
