Merchandising Assistant (Graduate Entry Level) Location: Carlisle Employment Type: Permanent | Sector: Fashion / Retail About the Role Our client, a leading retail and fashion business, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting graduate entry-level opportunity designed to provide a solid foundation for a long-term career in merchandising. The successful candidate will support the merchandising function, working closely with Buying, Stores, and Online teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time, in the right place, and in the right quantities. Key Responsibilities Analysis & Insights Provide reporting and analysis to help shape future product ranges Monitor trading performance by location and share insights Identify emerging trends and inform decision-making Carry out size ratio analysis to ensure customer demand is met Planning & Delivery Support delivery scheduling to optimise stock flow Assist with stock replenishment during peak periods Pricing, Promotions & Communication Compile pricing and promotional updates Communicate changes clearly to store and online teams Supplier & Distribution Liaison Coordinate supplier delivery information Work with Distribution Centre colleagues to ensure smooth goods flow Order & Administration Support Assist with the creation and management of purchase orders (import and domestic) Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be: Numerate and analytically minded Highly organised with a strong eye for detail A good communicator and team player Motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to learn Confident with Excel (training will be provided if required) Why Apply?
