Fertility Nurse

Job Description Location: CardiffAboutLondon Womens Clinic is a leading private fertility clinic delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a patient-centred environment. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Fertility Nurse to join our multidisciplinary clinical team.The roleAs a Senior Fertility Nurse at LWC, you will manage a clinical caseload and provide safe, high-quality nursing care across the fertility treatment pathway. Working closely with consultants, embryology, nursing, and wider teams, you will ensure care is delivered in line with LWC SOPs and HFEA requirements, while contributing to clinical governance and service improvement.Key responsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, individualised nursing care within a regulated fertility settingMaintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinic policies and HFEA guidanceAssist in clinical procedures such as Hysteroscopys, Hycosys, Endometrial scratch/biopsy, Polypectomy, Coil insertion and removal, Cervical smearsProvide Phlebotomy services for collection of specimens, labelling and despatching to the outside laboratory as per current Clinic SOPs.Perform clinical observations and proceduresAdvocate for patients and escalate concerns appropriatelyMaintain a safe, clean and well-stocked clinical environmentWork collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure excellent patient careAbout youEssential:Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Midwife with a valid NMC PINAt least 4 years of nursing experience, NMC registered and be trained as a fertility nurse.Scanning and follicular trackingHysteroscopys, Hycosys, Endometrial scratch/biopsy, Polypectomy, Coil insertion and removal, Cervical smearsPhlebotomyExcellent communication / interpersonal skillsPrecise time management skillsRobust organisational skillsAbility to work under instruction and autonomously within scope of practiceExcellent administrative and record-keeping skillsCompetent in Intermediate Life Support (ILS).Benefits32 days annual leave including bank holidaysPension plan and life assuranceStaff treatment discountsSalary sacrifice schemes (Workplace Nursery, EV Car Scheme, Cycle2Work)Learning and development opportunitiesPerkbox benefits and rewards platformA supportive, collaborative teamLondon Women's Clinic is an Equal Opportunities employer and welcome all applications.
