HGV Class 2 Driver Cardiff People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Cardiff. Shifts Friday to Monday: Start time 06:00 Rates of Pay Basic: 15.00 per hour Saturday: 22.50 per hour Sunday: 30.00 per hour Bank Holidays: 30.00 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties Deliver building materials and home interior products (excluding bathrooms and kitchens) Operate and drive Category C vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Work as part of a two-person team delivering to residential addresses Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Heavy lifting involved throughout the shift Essential Skills Minimum of 24 months' continuous experience driving Category C vehicles Valid UK Category C Licence Valid UK CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards No more than six penalty points (no major endorsements) Able to use a PDA for delivery management Good communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided Driver's assessment must be completed prior to start One-day paid induction following successful assessment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
