Carpenter Fitter

Chiawood Limited is a small independent business in South Wales specialising in creating bespoke furniture from design to installation. Working in domestic and commercial properties we create high-end pieces including wardrobes, understair storage, media walls and kitchens. We are recruiting an experienced carpenter to join our team. You will be expected to: Have 5+ years of experience in carpentry within a similar role (such as kitchen or wardrobe fitting) Have excellent attention to detail, a high standard of quality workmanship and the ability to problem-solve Be able to work as part of a team and independently Read and interpret technical drawings and designs Work with MDF, veneer, and other materials Be skilled in joinery techniques and finishing methods as well as using woodworking tools and power tools Full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a long wheel-based van Be prepared to commute from the CF14 area Flexible to occasionally travel to work elsewhere within the UK, including overnight stays (most jobs are within the South Wales area) Be reliable and efficient - working to tight deadlines Have good customer service skills, maintaining professionalism and integrity in high-pressure environments in domestic and commercial sites Develop new skills and methodologies and contribute to the growth of the company Occasionally work as part of an event setup/de-rig team You will benefit from: Competitive salary Monday-Friday rota Day shifts Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: In person TPBN1_UKTJ
