Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Assistant Manager will support the successful running of the whole Food & Beverage offering within the hotel. People leadership, including recruiting, retaining and developing employees. Set targets for the F&B team in line with the overall departmental and hotel strategy. Support/oversee events in the hotel to ensure excellence in service at all times Assist in the overall running of the hotel during duty manager shifts. This includes assuming full responsibility in the absence of General Manager. To have a full understanding of the hotels fire procedures to ensure safety of all staff and guests at all times. Duties to include: Assisting reception with departures and arrivals. Ensuring the safety and security of staff and guests alike. Other duties as per the duty manager checklist. To take ownership of any complaints received while on duty What Youll Need Experience in a Food & Beverage management role in a leading hotel. Experience in conferences and events is a distinct advantage. Excellent Leadership skills. Experience in recruiting and developing employees. High standards and attention to detail.
