Job Description Interim Programme Manager - Capital Delivery Hybrid / 2-3 days on-site per week Inside IR35 6 months+ contract Social Housing | Housing Association Team leadership - c.12 direct reports Competitive day rate availableWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Programme Manager to join a progressive Housing Association's Capital Delivery team. This key leadership role will oversee the delivery of a varied programme of investment works across domestic properties - from major refurbishment and renovations to complex repairs, repurposing, and compliance-led projects.This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team, and ensure delivery remains aligned with safety, budget, and customer service expectations. Key Responsibilities:Lead and inspire a team of c.12 professionals delivering capital worksManage multiple projects covering renovation, retrofit, conversion, and complianceEnsure robust programme planning, delivery, risk management, and reportingOversee significant capital and revenue budgets, including funding applicationsUphold health & safety, compliance, and regulatory standardsFoster a high-performing, data-led, customer-focused team cultureDrive continuous improvement in service delivery through systems and innovation What We're Looking For:Proven experience in programme or capital delivery management in housing or property sectorsStrong leadership and people management skillsExcellent understanding of compliance, H&S, and housing regulationsAbility to manage complex budgets, delivery plans, and stakeholder relationshipsStrong organisational, communication, and decision-making abilitiesAble to commit to 2-3 days on-site per week (hybrid working)This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on residents' homes and lives through well-led, efficient, and customer-centred capital programmes.
