Retrofit Site Manager

Job Title: Retrofit Site ManagerLocation: Cardiff – Site BasedSalary: £40,000 + Car Allowance + Fuel + Bonus SchemeWe are currently working with a specialist contractor delivering retrofit and energy efficiency projects across the South West and Wales. They are now seeking an experienced Retrofit Site Manager to oversee site operations on a range of decarbonisation and low-energy housing schemes.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on site manager with strong technical knowledge in retrofit systems and a passion for improving homes and communities.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day delivery of retrofit projects, ensuring compliance with PAS2030/2035, Building Regulations, and funding requirements (ECO etc.)Develop programmes of work, manage budgets and ensure works are completed to scope, standard, and scheduleMaintain full compliance with H&S legislation and company policy on siteConduct regular inspections to monitor quality, progress, and safetyBuild strong working relationships with clients, residents, engineers, and subcontractorsSupport and manage operatives and sub-contractors, resolving technical and performance issuesEnsure client enquiries and issues are resolved in a timely and professional mannerOversee installation of energy efficiency measures including insulation, ventilation, window and door replacements, low carbon heating, and lighting upgradesReport project progress and site productivity clearly to the commercial and operational teamsRequirements:Proven experience managing retrofit or energy efficiency works on siteSMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)IOSH Managing SafelyCSCS Manager’s CardStrong understanding of PAS2030/2035 and compliance requirementsExcellent leadership, organisation, and communication skillsThis role would suit a delivery-focused Site Manager with a background in retrofit or social housing, looking to work with a forward-thinking business driving energy transition and sustainable housing.
