Job DescriptionJMC Aviation are working with a MRO based near Cardiff, looking to recruit a new Aircraft Planning Manager to join their team.This company are global leaders in Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Storage and Disassembly services.The role has arisen as the company is growing on the maintenance arm of their business, while welcoming the introduction of a new hangar. The team are dedicated to delivering exceptional maintenance services, ensuring value at every step for some of the world's leading lessors and airlines.In a varied and dynamic environment, the company work with a diverse range of aircraft types and requirements - from short-term storage, complex modification packages, interior reconfigurations, to end-of-lease maintenance activities.This is a Permanent Position based near Cardiff, the working hours are Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week.Salary and Benefits:Highly Competitive SalaryAnnual BonusAnnual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays - plus on occasion, discretionary annual leave days given by executive teamPrivate Medical CareCompany Annual BonusCompany Pension PlanAdditional Type trainingThe Role:The primary purpose of this role is to administer all aspects of Aircraft Planning related to part 145 as specified under main responsibilities.Other duties involve:Development of procedures to support a fast growing Part 145 MRO.Chair aircraft pre-input meetingsReview incoming work scopes proposals in collaboration with SalesPlan all accepted work packagesCollaborate with logistics and production to ensure smooth aircraft input and efficient TAT.Manage all communications with CAMO`s regarding work packages.Management of technical recordsManagement of technical publications In order to be successful in this role the Aircraft Planning Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:5+ years airline or MRO industry experience in maintenance planning (3rd party MRO experience advantageous)Managerial experience, with the ability to train and motivate a team.In depth knowledge of EASA and CAA Part-M and Part-145 legislationStrong IT skillsGood commercial acumenAbility to work well under pressure and deliver results.Positive approach towards identifying problems and solutionsWell organised person capable of coordinating complex and dynamic projectsIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
