Job DescriptionSecurity and Cleaning Operations ManagerCardiff (multi-site South Wales travel)Permanent | 45,000 per annumBridgestone Group- part of Bright Group International- is a sector specialist recruitment business with a foundation built on exceptional industry knowledge, an extensive professional network, and a passion for connecting high-calibre construction professionals with leading contractors across the built environment.We are currently recruiting for a Security and Cleaning Operations Manager to join us at Bridgestone, an exciting opportunity for an operational leader with a strong track record in managing multi-site teams across both service lines to play a key role in the successful delivery of security and cleaning services across South Wales.The RoleThis is a hands-on, people-focused role, ideally suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi-site environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of site-based supervisors, ensuring consistently high service standards are delivered in line with client expectations, contractual KPIs and industry regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support supervisors across multiple client locations, ensuring service quality and staff performance.Monitor and manage workforce scheduling, absence, and leave records, using Guardman software.Carry out daily audits to ensure site cleanliness, safety, and security compliance.Maintain SIA licensing compliance, ACS accreditation, and prepare for industry inspections.Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing performance management.Monitor stock levels and equipment usage for cost efficiency.Build strong client relationships and act swiftly to resolve operational issues.Produce regular operational performance reports for senior stakeholders.What Were Looking ForProven experience managing both security and cleaning services across commercial or industrial sites.A proactive leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Confident using security workforce management software (ideally Guardhouse/Guardman).SIA licence holder with in-depth knowledge of ACS requirements.Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across South Wales.Organised, resilient, and solutions-focused.DesirableIOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification.Experience tendering or onboarding new client contracts.Familiarity with ISO standards and external audits.The Bridgestone BenefitsWith our Medical Cash Plan, you can claim back on everyday healthcare expenses, including optical, dental, and chiropractic careensuring your wellbeing is always a top priority.Join us in our mission to make a positive impact we plant a tree for every new team member.
