Location: Cardiff (projects across Wales/ South West) Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 + attractive benefits package + excellent progression opportunities Sector: Safety, Risk & Compliance Consultancy WRG is supporting an independent H&S, CDM and Compliance Consultancy who are looking to appoint an ambitious CDM/ Principal Designer professional to their team in South Wales. Our client has ambitious plans for the year ahead and a strong order book of projects, they have already invested heavily within their H&S/ Compliance team and now requires a competent CDM professional to join the team.The CDM Consultant would cover a diverse portfolio of property & construction projects (commercial, residential, healthcare, education, retail, industrial) across Wales and the South West.The role would suit an experienced and competent CDM professional from a consultancy or contractor background who feels that their progress is currently stalled, our client has a history of excellent career progression and will offer support and training for you to achieve success.Responsibilities:Deliver various H&S services to ensure compliance on construction projects.Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required. Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place. Carry out risk assessments and site inspections for project portfolio. Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones. Liaise with various stakeholders (architects, contractors, developers, designers, client) and keep them informed of changes regarding safety. Requirements: NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body (desirable). Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations. Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry (desirable). Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Full UK driving license.
