This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll oversee a small team and manage indirect procurement across all group companies. You’ll drive best practice in purchasing, tendering, sourcing, and cost-saving initiatives, while developing and executing supply strategies across a wide range of categories.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.Design and implement strategic procurement plans to deliver cost savings, efficiency, and value across multiple categories.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to ensure optimal value and service quality.Ensure procurement processes comply with internal policies and legal standards.Collaborate with senior leadership to align procurement strategies with broader business goals.Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies to remain competitive and agile.Oversee fleet management, ensuring cost-effective and efficient operations.Lead complex, high-value procurement projects from inception to completion.About YouProven leadership experience in procurement, ideally within a multi-site environment.Strong track record in strategic sourcing and delivering measurable cost savings.Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.Experience in fleet management is a plus.MCIPS qualification is highly desirable.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary: £75,000 – £80,000 (depending on experience)Performance-based bonus schemeCompany car or car allowanceGenerous pension contributionPrivate healthcare25 days holiday plus bank holidays
