ResponsibilitiesDrive and maintain productive relationships with key retail customers, acting as a trusted technical partner. Provide expert input into customer strategies, ensuring technical excellence and product integrity every step of the way. Take ownership of customer specifications, making sure they/'re accurate, up-to-date, and clearly communicated across the business. Lead on the resolution of product quality issues, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions. Monitor product performance through the supply chain, safeguarding quality, freshness, and compliance with industry standards. Support innovation by proactively contributing to new product development and enhancing supplier processes. QualificationsA solid technical background, ideally with experience of fresh produce. Proven success in managing high-profile customer accounts. Strong knowledge of certification schemes such as BRC, GlobalGAP and Red Tractor. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. A proactive, relationship-driven approach with the ability to influence at all levels.
