Project Manager About the Company Our client is a well-established housing infrastructure and civils contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across Kent and the South East. Their portfolio includes residential developments, groundworks packages, and large-scale civil engineering schemes. They are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee key projects and drive successful delivery from start to finish. The Role As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project delivery across multiple sites, ensuring programmes, budgets, and quality standards are achieved. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, acting as the central point of communication between clients and senior leadership. Your focus will be on planning, execution, risk management, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of housing infrastructure and civils projects from pre-construction through to handover. Lead and support site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery. Develop and maintain project programmes, tracking progress and mitigating delays. Oversee procurement, resource planning, and subcontractor coordination. Monitor budgets, variations, and cost control measures. Maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and ensuring expectations are met. Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions. Ensure all works comply with UK construction regulations, company procedures, and project specifications. About You Proven experience as a Project Manager within housing infrastructure, groundworks, or civil engineering. Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple live projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities. Solid understanding of construction programmes, sequencing, and site logistics. Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and variations. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide site teams. Thorough knowledge of UK construction regulations and best practice.
