Legal and Compliance Executive Location: Cannock Working Hours: 7:30am 4:30pm Monday Friday Benefits: Competitive Salary, Bonus Scheme, Pension Scheme, Free Lunches and additional holiday. The mission of this position is to support the business in maintaining robust compliance frameworks and effective governance processes. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will help manage risk, support audits and accreditations, and ensure compliance documentation is accurate, up to date and accessible. This is a varied and business-critical role, offering exposure across Health & Safety, ESG, legal compliance and corporate governance. Key Responsibilities Assist with the administration and renewal of company insurance policies including building, stock/product, marine, fleet, public liability and employers liability Act as a key support contact for insurance claims, coordinating information, liaising with insurers and internal stakeholders, and tracking claims through to resolution Support the maintenance and renewal of industry accreditations including ISO, FSC, BRC, Ecovadis, FORS and carbon neutrality initiatives Provide support for internal and external legal and compliance audits, including document preparation, evidence collation and action tracking Monitor and help track changes in environmental, legal and compliance-related legislation and company standards, escalating relevant updates where required Support the SMT and HR team with the review, update and administration of company policies and procedures Maintain and update staff training matrices and compliance records Support the review and upkeep of company Terms & Conditions (sales and purchase) Assist the Health & Safety team with compliance documentation and record-keeping Maintain central QMS and compliance databases covering Environmental, Legal, Health & Safety and Compliance documentation Provide compliance support to Finance and the SMT, including assistance with utility and supplier contract reviews Support Sales and Procurement teams with contractual documentation, tenders, and customer and supplier compliance questionnaires About You Previous experience in compliance, governance, risk, quality, or administrative support Strong attention to detail and confidence working with documentation and regulatory requirements Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams Proactive, reliable and solutions-focused Strong written and verbal communication skills Apply now for this exciting new role!
