Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist Location: London Hours: Full-time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract: Permanent About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join a supportive, multidisciplinary team within a specialist independent school. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality therapy for children and young people with a range of speech, language, and communication needs, including autism, developmental language disorder, sensory needs, and complex profiles. What Youll Be Doing Providing specialist assessment, intervention, and review for children aged 418. Delivering targeted and specialist therapy, including small-group and 1:1 sessions. Writing high-quality reports and contributing to EHCP reviews. Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and the wider therapy team to support communication across the school day. Supervising junior therapists and assistants (if applicable). Delivering training to staff and supporting whole-school communication initiatives. What Were Looking For HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist (Band 7 level or strong Band 6 stepping up). Experience working in schools, SEN settings, or paediatric services. Strong clinical skills across ASD, language delay/disorder, social communication, and functional communication. Confident, warm communicator with a child-centred approach.
