Job Description Position: Electrical Testing SupervisorLocation: Cambridge Modern, State-of-the-Art BuildingHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pmSalary: 46,000 per annumEmployer: Leading FM Service ProviderAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Testing Supervisor to join a leading Facilities Management service provider, working within a modern, high-spec building in Cambridge.This is a key role within the onsite team, responsible for overseeing electrical testing, compliance, and maintenance activities while supporting operational delivery and contract standards.The Role OverviewAs the Electrical Testing Supervisor, you will undertake essential Group 1 & 2 electrical testing, carry out remedial works, and support general maintenance activities across the site. There is scope to expand into fixed wire and RCD testing, offering further technical development.You will work closely with the Electrical Operations Manager and wider operational team to ensure full compliance and safe system performance within a 24-hour operational environment.What youll do:Undertake Group 1 & 2 electrical testing and complete remedial works as requiredCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)Perform safety checks and testing following maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate documentationLiaise with the Electrical Operations Manager regarding plant or equipment failuresSource materials, spares, and specialist services where requiredSupport contract compliance and operational performanceAdhere to all company policies and health 'safety proceduresWhat youll bring to the role:Recognised time-served electrical apprenticeship (Contracting or Maintenance background)Level 3 Electrical Installations qualificationIET / BS7671:2022 A2 (18th Edition) qualificationAM2 qualificationC&G 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (Inspection, Testing & Certification)CSCS Safety Passport (or equivalent)Strong working knowledge of current electrical legislation, standards, and regulationsExperience working within 24-hour operational environmentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic IT competency (training provided for reporting systems)Whats on offer:46,000 basic salaryOpportunity to expand into fixed wire and RCD testingExposure to a high-quality, modern commercial facilityLong-term stability with a leading FM providerThis is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Electrical Testing professional seeking a stable, days-based supervisory role within a premium commercial environment.JBRP1_UKTJ
