About the Role: Were looking for a talented and proactive Building Surveyor to join our growing team in Cambridge . From historic college buildings to cutting-edge commercial spaces, youll be part of shaping the built environment in one of the most architecturally rich and innovative cities in the UK. Youll take the lead on a variety of instructions including condition surveys, project work, contract administration, defect diagnosis, and moreworking closely with clients from education, commercial, and public sectors. Responsibilities: Carrying out building surveys, inspections, and preparing reports Contract administration, project management, employers agent Managing refurbishment and renovation projects Providing professional advice on property maintenance, repair and refurbishment Working closely with clients, contractors, and consultants Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and building regulations CDM 2015 Party wall/neighbourly matters What We're Looking For: Degree in Building Surveying or related field (RICS accredited preferred) APC progression or MRICS status desirable, but not essential Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills Excellent client-facing communication and project management abilities Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently or in a team Whats in it for You?
