Job Description Patient Support Programme (PSP) ManagerUK & Ireland | Hybrid (Cambridge area 1 day per week)Competitive salary circa 90,000 + bonus + benefitsOpportunity to take full ownership of Patient Support Programmes across the UK & Ireland within a global rare disease organisation, combining governance leadership with operational delivery.A global biopharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases is seeking a Patient Support Programme (PSP) Manager to oversee the governance, performance and operational management of patient support and homecare services across the UK and Ireland.This role sits within the Medical Governance function and plays a critical part in ensuring PSPs deliver real value for patients, healthcare providers and the wider healthcare system while maintaining the highest standards of compliance.You will act as the PSP Owner, leading programme governance, vendor oversight and operational performance while working closely with Medical, Compliance, Market Access, Commercial teams and external healthcare partners.Key responsibilitiesOwn the governance and lifecycle management of Patient Support Programmes across the UK & IrelandLead cross-functional PSP governance reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal frameworksManage relationships with homecare providers and external service partners, ensuring high-quality service deliveryOversee contracts, KPIs and operational performance across PSP providersAnalyse programme data to identify insights, risks and opportunities to improve patient outcomesCandidate profileWe are looking for someone with experience in Patient Support Programmes, homecare services, or healthcare operations within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.You will bring:Strong understanding of governance frameworks, regulatory expectations and compliance requirements associated with PSPsExperience managing vendors, service providers and contractual relationshipsStrong analytical capability and confidence interpreting operational and performance dataExcellent organisational and project management skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with Medical, Compliance, Market Access and Commercial teamsDegree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, medicine or a related disciplineExperience in rare diseases or speciality therapeutic areas would be advantageous.Additional informationHybrid role with weekly presence in the Cambridge areaUK & Ireland travel required for provider meetings and service reviewsOpportunity to play a key role in shaping patient support services that improve real-world patient outcomesFor a confidential discussion, please contact me directly via LinkedIn or click "Apply" below
