Job Description Senior Water Treatment TechnicianCovering: Cambridgeshire, Suffolk & surrounding areasPay: 17.31 per hour + overtimeHours: 40 hours per week, full-timeContract: PermanentOverviewAn established and growing UK compliance and water treatment provider is seeking an experienced Senior Water Treatment Technician to join its regional field team.This role suits someone who enjoys working independently, covering a variety of sites, and taking ownership of technical delivery while being backed by a supportive management structure. Youll be working across commercial and public-sector environments with long-term stability and clear progression opportunities.A company vehicle is provided once training and onboarding are complete.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive water treatment works across multiple client sitesService, test and chemically dose closed systems, including heating and chilled water systemsUndertake steam boiler water treatment activities, including testing, chemical control and system optimisationInstall, commission, service and fault-find chemical dosing equipment such as:Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) systemsSilver-stabilised hydrogen peroxide systemsUltralox and similar disinfection technologiesMaintain and service filtration systems (cartridge, bag, strainers and backwash filters)Conduct servicing and performance checks on UV disinfection systemsCarry out routine monitoring and basic fault-finding on RO and DI plant and associated equipmentComplete site records, test results and service reports accurately and on timeWork in line with COSHH, method statements and water safety guidanceCommunicate effectively with clients, account managers and internal teams regarding findings and remedial actionsMaintain tools, equipment, stock levels and vehicle standardsWhat Were Looking ForFull UK driving licence (essential)Demonstrable experience in water treatment engineering (essential)Strong understanding of Legionella control and water safety legislation (essential)Mechanical and electrical competence relating to pumps, controllers and instrumentation (essential)Comfortable working autonomously once trainedProfessional, organised and customer-focused approachCommitment to safe working practices and quality standardsWhats in It for You17.31 per hourPaid overtime, including travel time from homeCompany vehicle provided22 days annual leave plus bank holidaysOption to purchase up to 3 additional unpaid leave daysCompany pension and sick pay schemesStructured training and development programmeSupport to achieve recognised industry qualificationsFree eye test every two yearsAccess to wellbeing, mental health and financial support servicesRetail discounts through a national rewards platformNext StepsIf youre an experienced Water Treatment Technician looking for a permanent role with variety, security and progression, apply now for a confidential discussion or call the recruitment team on 07487 897008.JBRP1_UKTJ
