Lead Production Technician

Job DescriptionIf youre a hands-on Lead Technician, or looking to take a step up and thrives on precision assembly, troubleshooting, and testing, this could be your perfect next move.You will be joining a high-tech manufacturing team in this award-winning business working with some great people.On a day to day basis you will:Assemble & test electro-mechanical systems to exacting standardsTroubleshoot & diagnose faults at component levelSolder, wire & build PCBs, cables, and harness assembliesUse test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators) to ensure performanceCollaborate with engineers to refine processes and solve technical challengesWhat do we need from you:Strong electro-mechanical assembly experience, including soldering, wiring, and mechanical buildConfidence in troubleshooting, fault finding and debugging, using relevant softwareUnderstanding of basic programming - Python, C#, and Hex/Decimal/Binary conversionsAble to read schematic designs & working knowledge of PCB design softwarePracticed in the use of standard test equipment (e.g. Oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators)Understanding of analogue and digital video processing is a bonusFamiliarity with Cleanroom techniquesA proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and problem-solveWhat can you expect in return?:Salary of 35,000 - 45,000, dependent on experienceFlexible working hours (core hours)23 days holiday + bank holidaysEnhanced employer pension contributionDiscounted gym membershipIf youre a skilled technician looking to take the next step, apply now or get in touch for more details!
