Panel Press Operator Rate: 18.12 ph PAYE + holiday pay / 24.93 UMB Contract: 7+ months, with the potential to move to a rolling contractor or perm oppotunities Location: Cambridge Role Purpose Responsible for manufacturing and assembling composite panels and components to engineering drawings, work instructions, and company standards. Includes certification of own work where required. Key Responsibilities Cutting and preparing aluminium, plywood, and foam Panel laminating and assembly Working from drawings and written instructions Operating CNC Router and Table Saw (desirable) Using online job booking systems Monitoring budgets and highlighting issues Supporting apprentices/trainees when required Skills & Experience Strong background in manufacturing/fabrication Experience in composite panel manufacture CNC Router operation experience desirable Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes Understanding of Lean/5S techniques Good awareness of H&S policies Reliable, detail-focused, and team-oriented TPBN1_UKTJ
