Competitive salary of 30,500 per annum (dependent on experience) Paid overtime opportunities Annual bonus paid in November Defined contribution pension scheme (after 3 months) Medicash membership for health and wellbeing support Free meals on duty On-site parking Full-time, permanent position with job security Work with a team of 10-12 chefs in a respected and supportive environment About the role: Preparing a variety of high-quality pastries and desserts for around 500 students, staff, and guests Supporting formal events including college banquets, high-end dinners, and special functions Working on a rotating shift pattern (early/late) with alternate weekends Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times Assisting with menu development and introducing seasonal dessert options Collaborating with the Head Chef and wider team to deliver a first-class food service What we're looking for: Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a banqueting, hotel, or fine dining environment A passion for pastry and a strong eye for detail and presentation Food hygiene qualifications and a good understanding of allergen compliance Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork Flexibility to work required shifts including weekends Interested?
