Job Description Engineering Contracts Manager Estates / Asset ManagementLocation: CambridgeSalary: 50,000 - 60,000Contract: Permanent A large, complex UK estate owner is seeking an experienced Engineering Contracts Manager to lead the development, negotiation and management of engineering maintenance contracts across a diverse portfolio of buildings.This senior role will oversee both planned and reactive maintenance contracts (mechanical, electrical and statutory compliance), managing the full contract lifecycle from strategy and tendering through to performance management and close-out. Key responsibilities include:Developing multi-year maintenance frameworks and commercial strategiesLeading high-value contract negotiations and dispute resolutionManaging contractor performance, KPIs, SLAs and riskEnsuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirementsDriving governance, process improvement and data-led decision makingLine management, staff development and internal training on contract management (NEC/JCT)About you:Proven experience managing maintenance contracts across multiple buildingsStrong background in mechanical & electrical maintenance and statutory complianceExperience with NEC and/or JCT contractsExcellent stakeholder management, negotiation and analytical skillsGood working knowledge of health 'safety and operational riskDegree-level qualification (or equivalent experience); H&S qualifications desirable
