Procurement Manager – Leading F&B business - Cambridgeshire – Salary Negotiable, 5 days on siteMy client is a leading industry F&B business who are known for their quality product, seasonal changes and developing with the Food and Drink industry. With a site just outside of London, they have an exceptional culture and a long standing cause for development.As Procurement Manager, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of procurement and stock control—managing goods in and out, monitoring seasonal trends, and working closely with internal teams to ensure supply chain efficiency. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on precision, pace, and problem-solvingThis role will be 5 days on site and requires work with raw ingredients. Company Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Professional development and training opportunities.A dynamic and inclusive working culture with a focus on sustainability and innovation.The Procurement Manager responsibilities:Manage purchasing of all stock lines across multiple categories, ensuring availability while maintaining lean stock levelsLead and develop the purchasing team, ensuring continual growth and development.Monitor product seasonality and trends to plan and adjust buying accordinglyAnalyze stock consumption and movement to forecast demand and avoid over/under-orderingWork closely with the warehouse, production, and commercial teams to manage goods in/out processesNegotiate with suppliers to maintain cost efficiency and high service levelsImplement purchasing systems and controls to streamline processes and improve traceabilityLiaise with finance to ensure accurate invoicing and reconciliationPrepare reports on stock turnover, wastage, and purchase efficiencyThe ideal Procurement Manager Candidate:Proven experience in a Purchasing, Supply Chain or Stock Management role (F&B or FMCG highly desirable)Excellent analytical skills and commercial acumenStrong understanding of inventory systems and stock control processesComfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with perishable goodsExceptional organisational and communication skillsProficiency in Excel and ERP systemsIf you are interested in having a chat about this role, please forward updated CVs to Mark at COREcruitment / are experts in recruiting for Hospitality, Catering, Leisure, Retail, FM, Property and Construction sectors.
