Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and collaborative Laboratory Operations Group Leader to provide strategic and people-focused leadership within the US DMPK Department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, matrixed environment and is passionate about guiding teams, driving cross-functional alignment, and fostering continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Provideday-to-day leadershipand guidance to team members, supporting their development, performance, and engagement. Foster acollaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging open communication, knowledge sharing, and accountability. Serve as aliaison between scientific teams, global stakeholders, and external collaborators, ensuring alignment on priorities and timelines. Identify and implementprocess improvementsto enhance team efficiency, communication, and adaptability. Monitor team training and compliance, ensuring readiness and adherence to internal standards. Support strategic planning and resource allocation in collaboration with department leadership. Navigate ambiguity and evolving organizational structures with resilience and clarity, helping the team stay focused and aligned. Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and initiatives, advocating for team needs and contributing to broader departmental goals. QualificationsBachelor’s degree and2+ years of experiencein the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industries Successful leadership experience, including informal or project-based leadership Strongorganizational and communication skills, with a detail-oriented mindset Experience managing or contributing to projects in aglobal matrix/team environment Critical thinker with the ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and support decision-making Skilled atprioritizing multiple initiativeswhile maintaining strong cross-functional relationships Ability to workindependently, using sound judgment and knowing when to escalate Collaborative spirit with a commitment toteam development and knowledge sharing Quick to learn new systems and processes, with a focus oncontinuous improvement Comfortable working undertight timelinesand inevolving environments Proficient inMicrosoft Office(PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Must beauthorized to work in the United Statesindefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationWhat to Expect in the Hiring Process: 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter 45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader 60 Minute Onsite Meeting with the Team Additional Details: This is a full-time, onsite position based on a first-shift schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), with overtime required as needed.
