Job Description About o2h Discovery is an insight driven, Al enabled, co-discovery model for fast tracking new ideas to a development candidate. Located out of the UK and India we have a multi-modality integrated drug discovery platform that combines novel in-house capabilities with leading strategic partnerships to create a unique workflow.We are seeking an exceptional medicinal chemist with international education or global work experience to help lead drug discovery projects from India and also be available to meet the collaborators in their local market thereby creating a hybrid location working opportunity for someone in the USA/UK or Europe. Senior medicinal chemists with an interest in project management and/or business development are also encouraged to apply.EligibilityCandidates must be currently based in the UK, USA, or Europe, with demonstrated international industry experience.What youll doLead integrated, multi-modality drug discovery projects across chemistry disciplinesAddress complex synthesis challenges using advanced analytical approachesApply modern discovery platforms including ELNs, cheminformatics, and digital workflowsCollaborate with biology, ADME/DMPK, and platform sciences for integrated deliveryMentor scientists to global standards of quality and scientific rigorBuild and represent o2h Discovery partnerships with global biotech clientsSkills we valueMedicinal 'synthetic chemistry expertise with strong route design and problem-solvingAdvanced troubleshooting using digital chemistry and modern discovery platformsExperience across advanced modalities (ADCs, peptides, covalent inhibitors, TPD) and practical familiarity with HTE, flow chemistry and other productivity enhancing techniquesStrong scientific communication and influence in global collaborationsDemonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and develop scientific teamsQualifications & ExperiencePh.D/Post doc from a leading international university (US/UK/EU strongly preferred)5-20 years of industrial experience in small-molecule drug discoveryReach us at: [email protected] Location: o2h Discovery Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (Relocation and visa support available)
