Job Description Customer Support SpecialistHands-on technical support role supporting laboratory instruments, software and consumables, with customer travel across the UK, Europe and the US.About the companyHigh growth life-sciences equipment manufacturer supporting labs with sample storage, identification and handling solutionsProducts include laboratory instruments, software and consumables used across biobanks, research, biotech and pharmaSmall, professional, close-knit team with a strong reputation for service and product qualityAbout the roleProvide technical support to new and existing customers across the full product rangeDiagnose, repair and service laboratory equipment on customer sites and in-houseRegular travel to customer locations (UK/US/Europe)Support customers via email and phone when requiredManage spare parts inventory and coordinate ordersWork with manufacturing and product teams on faults, improvements and new productsTest products and perform quality/functional checks prior to saleConfigure laptops and install software for use with equipmentYour previous experienceExperience repairing and servicing equipment (in-house and on customer sites)Local to Cambridge and happy with some global travelStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving and logical thinking skillsDirect customer technical support experienceComfortable working independently and as part of a teamHighly organised with strong attention to detailConfident communicator with good listening skillsCompetent with computers, operating systems and major software toolsFull UK driving licence, clean recordProfessional, discreet and able to represent the brand on-sitePackageto 42,000 base salary + bonusExcellent progression routes as the company growsGood benefits and cultureArius Recruit is exclusively hiring for this role.
