Job Description JOB- WelderLOCATION- Cambridge (Site change to Oxford area in 2027)TERM- PermanentSALARY- 30,000 - 40,000 (dependent on experience) My client specialises in metal fabrication. They are looking for a Welder to start immediately at their site in Cambridge (company is expanding and moving to Oxford in 2027) Overtime available.The Welder will:Have a minimum of 2 years welding experience.Be competent in TIG or MIG welding techniques.Be comfortable and competent working alone as well as part of a team.Have the ability to read and understand Engineering drawingsA forklift licence isnt essential but is preferred.The successful Welder will be responsible for:Welding for numerous industries and functions.Working straight from engineering diagrams.Working with metal materials: stainless steel, mild steelSome assembly work for each projectWeld to a high degree of accuracy and reliability.PPE provided.The successful applicant must have the right to work in the UK.
