You'll act as the key advisor to leadership, ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental practices meet legal requirements and reflect best-in-class standards.You'll also play a vital role in engaging staff, fostering awareness, and embedding a positive safety culture across every level of the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead a robust HSE strategy aligned with corporate and legal requirements.Review and implement HSE policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.Oversee and support comprehensive risk assessments and control measures.Manage accident and near-miss reporting, investigation, and trend analysis.Deliver HSE training and maintain accurate training records.Ensure compliance with COSHH, DSEAR, Fire Safety, and Environmental regulations.Monitor performance metrics, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote engagement and collaboration.Provide expert advice on all HSE-related matters and participate in audits and accreditation processes.About YouWe're looking for a confident, proactive individual with the credibility and communication skills to influence at all levels.
