This is an excellent opportunity to join a values-led organisation offering flexible hybrid working and long-term career development.Whats on offer: Salary: 45,000 per annumWorking pattern: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), hybrid working (typically 12 days office-based, remainder across sites)Benefits package includes:33 days annual leave including bank holidaysChoice of two pension schemes with enhanced employer contributionHealth cashback plan (dental and optical)Enhanced sick payEmployee Assistance Programme & wellbeing supportAccess to funded training and professional qualificationsAnnual leave purchase schemeEmployee reward and recognition schemesTax-saving initiativesOpportunities to engage in employee forums and colleague groupsAsset Surveyor key responsibilities include:Delivering comprehensive surveying services including stock condition surveys, measured surveys, defect diagnosis, maintenance inspections and HHSRS assessments (with a focus on damp and mould)Preparing technical documentation including specifications, drawings, floor plans, tender packs and cost estimatesSupporting planned, cyclical and major works programmesEnsuring compliance with CDM regulations, building regulations, planning requirements and health & safety legislationManaging contractors, consultants and external stakeholders, overseeing quality, performance and value for moneyUndertaking contract administration and site inspectionsLiaising with landlords, insurers and third parties where requiredContributing to procurement activities, policy development and service improvement initiativesParticipating in the out-of-hours on-call rotaChampioning safeguarding and health & safety best practiceProjects will span domestic and commercial properties and include planned maintenance, compliance works, major repairs and improvement programmes across occupied homes and community buildings. xjdpvnf The successful Asset Surveyor will have:Minimum three years experience in a surveying roleStrong knowledge of building construction, repairs and maintenanceExperience delivering planned and reactive maintenance programmesSound understanding of CDM, building regulations and health & safety complianceExperience in contractor and contract managementAbility to produce accurate specifications, drawings, reports and cost estimatesStrong IT skills including Word, Excel and CAD softwareConfidence working in occupied properties with residents who may have diverse needsA professional, organised and pragmatic approachFull driving licence and ability to travel regularly across regional sitesThis role would suit an experienced Asset Surveyor looking to make a meaningful impact within social housing, this could be your next opportunity.
