Bid Writer – Charity / Third Sector Remote / Part Time 26–30 hours per week | Flexible working pattern£38,000–£40,000 pro rata + performance bonus (FTE £50k OTE)Are you an experienced bid writer with a talent for crafting compelling funding applications? Do you want to use your skills to make a meaningful difference in the charity and not-for-profit sector?We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation that supports charities across the UK with their fundraising efforts. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team, working remotely and flexibly, with the option to spread your hours across 3.5–4 full days or over 5 shorter days to suit your schedule.What you’ll be doing:Preparing and submitting high-quality, tailored funding bids for a range of charitable clientsCollaborating with clients to identify fundable projects and develop strategic funding approachesManaging multiple deadlines and ensuring compliance with funders’ requirementsMaintaining regular communication with clients and internal team membersWhat we’re looking for: Proven experience writing successful funding bids in the charity or third sectorExcellent written communication and project management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a remote teamComfortable using Microsoft Office and working to deadlinesWilling to travel occasionally for client meetingsWhat’s on offer:Salary: £38,000–£40,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experienceBonus scheme: Performance-related bonus (Full-time equivalent OTE of £50k)Working hours: 26–30 hours per week with flexible options (3.5–4 full days or 5 shorter days)Location: Remote-based with occasional client travelSupportive, values-driven team making a real difference across the UK charity sectorLocation: Fully remote – UKThis is a home-based role with occasional travel required (typically only 1–2 times per year).Please note: Due to charity regulations, applicants must be based in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland.If you want to use your bid writing skills to help charities secure funding, please apply
